2024 SOUTHERN NATIONALS

SKILLED EVENTS Tuesday Morning (9:00am - 12:00pm) Foley Sports Complex (FIELDS 6 - 10) – These events are optional for all players to participate.  Winners in each age group (8u, 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u/18u) will be recognized at the Opening Ceremonies and receive individual awards.

HOME RUN DERBY - Most home runs win.  Bring your own Coach Pitcher.

HOME TO HOME SPRINT - Home to Home.  Fastest time wins.

TEAM RELAY (4 PLAYERS) - Home to Home.  1st player starts, 2nd player will begin when the 1st player crosses home plate and passes the softball to them, and so on until the 4th player crosses home plate.  Each team will have 4 players.  Fastest time wins.

STAR RELAY (5 PLAYERS) - Ball thrown from C to 2B, 2B to 3B, 3B to 1B, 1B to SS, SS to C.  Players will be behind or even with the bases.  The ball can't touch the ground for your time to count.  Each team will have 5 players.  Each team will get 3 tries.  Fastest time wins.

COACHES & TEAM MOM MEETING Tuesday Evening 4:00pm - 5:30pm (SUITE # 136) Tanger Outlets - Bring copies of your MVP Roster and proof of insurance.  We’ll cover tournament rules, information for Opening ceremonies, pin trading, & gift bag swap.  You'll need to have Birth Certificates on hand throughout the week at each game.  Limit of 2 representatives for each team.

OPENING CEREMONIES Tuesday Evening 6:00pm - 7:30pm Tanger Outlets - Opening Introductions.  Umpire Introductions.  Team Introductions.  Skilled Events Winners.  Team Points Champions.  Gift Bag Swap.  Pin Trading.  DJ with Music.

Pool Play Games will begin Wednesday morning at 8am & continue Thursday morning starting at 8am.  Bracket Games will be played Friday & Saturday.

GIFT BAG EXCHANGE - We are doing a voluntary gift bag exchange Tuesday at Opening Ceremonies.  Please bring approximately 15 gift bags to exchange with another team.  Be creative.  Try to include at least one item that represents your area.  You can also include hair bows, cups, candy, sunscreen, pens, sunglasses, lip gloss, etc.    

The double elimination bracket will be seeded based on your total points earned.
